Standards Seminar on Combination Scale Filling Machines

On February 20, 2023, the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association successfully held two group standards seminars on "Intelligent Multi-staionts Combination Metering and Filling Machine" and "Intelligent Metering and Packaging System Technical Specifications" in Zhongshan, Guangdong. Chu Yufeng, President of the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association and Director of the Standardization Technical Committee, attended the seminar and delivered a speech. The meeting was chaired by Ding Shaohui, deputy secretary-general of the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association and secretary-general of the Standardization Technical Committee.

President Chu Yufeng pointed out in his speech that metering and filling is the key to realizing automated production in food factories. my country's combined metering and filling field started in 2000. After years of development, it has now formed an integration of core technology, independent research and development, scale production and sales. A complete industrial chain has emerged, and a number of large-scale enterprises with international production levels have emerged. However, at present, there are no relevant equipment standards to regulate metering and filling. Therefore, the formulation of the standards of "Intelligent Multi-head Combination Measuring and Filling Machine" and "Intelligent Metering and Packaging System Technical Specifications" are very important and have guiding significance for the healthy development of the industry.

Ding Shaohui, deputy secretary-general of the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association and secretary-general of the Standardization Technical Committee, reported to the expert representatives on the drafting background of the standard and the staged work in the drafting process, especially on the establishment of the association's group standard and the main content of the standard text. Detailed explanation was given. The expert representatives attending the meeting listened carefully to the report, and in a rigorous and scientific manner discussed the scope of the standard, normative reference documents, terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, etc. held heated discussions and in-depth exchanges, and put forward detailed revision opinions. Finally, the expert representatives unanimously agreed that the standard passed the discussion and suggested that the standard drafting group further improve the revision according to the proposed revision opinions and form a draft for review as soon as possible.
